It’s the kind of daiquiri where you allow the in-season fruits to shine, with no fillers or added preservatives. Mangoes are hands-down my favourite fruit. With nuances of orange, peach, and melon, it’s like no other fruit. Ripe Kent, Palmer or any other non-fibrous mangoes are perfect for this daiquiri.
Makes 2 – 12 oz glasses
Ingredients
2 non-fibrous mangoes
3 cups (500 mL) ice
1 oz (30 mL) freshly squeezed lime juice
1/3 cup (80 mL) simple syrup
Mango cubes for garnishing
Cherries for garnishing
Lime slices for garnishing
1. Add all ingredients to a blender and whir until ice are completely blended. Taste
and sweetened with more simple syrup if necessary.
2. Pour into two 12 oz. glasses, garnish and serve.
