AS SEEN ON BT – Cheers to the holidays with a superb cocktail to wake up the senses with hints of apples, melon and ginger beer.

Ingredients
1 tbsp corn syrup for garnishing
1 tbsp crushed Apple Jolly Rancher for garnishing
Ice for serving
1 ½ oz apple whisky
2 oz apple cider
1 ½ oz Caribbean ginger beer
½ oz melon liqueur
Red currants for garnishing
Mint leaves for garnishing
Line the rim of the glass with the syrup. Add candy to a small dish, coat rim of glass with the candy. Add ice to the glass. Pour the whisky, cider, and ginger beer to the glass and stir. Pour the melon liqueur onto a tablespoon over the glass to drizzle in the cider. Garnish with currants, mint leaves and serve.

Candy cane for garnishing
1 Apple Jolly Rancher candy
2 oz apple cider
2 oz watermelon juice
2 oz Caribbean ginger beer
Mint leaves for garnishing
Ice for serving
Line the rim of the glass with the syrup. Add crushed candy to a small dish, coat rim of glass with the candy, add candy cane. Add ice to a shaker. Add candy to a glass dish with one tablespoon of water, melt in microwave for 1 minute, let cool and set aside. Add apple cider and watermelon juice to shaker, shake well and pour into glass. Add ginger beer, melted candy, garnish with mint leaves and serve at once.
